Hello everyone,
This update is an alpha release intended to gather feedback on multiple fronts (Cemu with and without Extended Memory, using Linkle or Zelda character mods, playing on Wii U hardware, etc). Please note this isn't the full release for 1.9.14, there are still a few bug fixes to be made, and tweaks that may have slipped through the cracks. If anyone runs into any strange issues please make a thread in the Second Wind Hub Discord.
This update aims to add all types of compatability, from UKMM support to better compatability for those wishing to use character mods such as Linkle or Zelda. We also expect there to be better performance and far fewer crashes with official Wii U hardware. Unfortunately we're still unable to promise no panic blood moons and Switch support is still somewhere on the horizon. This update also increases the number of bosses you can defeat in the Labours of the Hero quest to 10 (only 2 more to go). A few existing locations have been changed to allow for better performance or to fix critical bugs we've noticed, as such there may be some inconsistencies with save flags. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
As always, we appreciate all the support that everyone has shown the team. We hope you enjoy this experience and hope to have a more refined version for you to play soon.

General[]
- Various fixes to improve gameplay

- Updated quest logic for Encrusted Dreams to fix minor bugs

- Evil Crystal are more menacing now, they quite literally radiate a colorful energy

- Regular Stal creatures will no longer carry ancient stal weapons
- The NPC in the Goron region who normally buys gems will also ask you for Emeralds from time to time

- Which witch was it? Changes the actor that needs to be shot down to a bird that is visible at all times of day regardless of weather. (Model to be changed in a future update)
- The Fishy Quiver has had a model update, now it’s all shiny
- Blunt Arrows will now appear in the Quiver for the Goron Bow, those arrows weren’t magic.
- Added a trapdoor to Link’s house. Where does it go?
- The Postman’s hat has been given a small visual update
- Adjusted dialogue for various NPCs to match vanilla tone/styling.
- The Mask of awakening has awakened to a new texture update, for that extra polish.
- Custom actors have been adjusted to allow for better performance
- Icon sizes and formats have been adjusted to maintain consistency
- Those pretty Emerald Ornaments now move when you move
- A new NPC can be found watching the crystal flower, just to help players who felt a bit stuck on that quest (don’t worry she’s not related to Flower Blight).
- Gorons in the central mines won’t stop working anymore (Sorry, not sorry)
- Added rewards for cooking under special circumstances (try the Chef set)
- Some NPCs will have special dialogue if you wear the Chef set and speak to them
- Animals of a feline nature are making their way to Hyrule
- A particular NPC will react when wearing the horse related mask
Ordon Village[]
- Tweaked Load Balancing files to increase performance in and around Ordon Village
- Adjusted the layout of some areas of the town
- Improved collision of objects within town
- Changed textures for objects within town so that they can vibe more
- Added your friendly neighborhood ghost to watch over the graves at night
- Some of the villagers have some new faces
- Added Emi and Mia to the Ordon Clothing Store
- Added the Sheikah Villager set to Mia’s inventory (unlocked after Ancient Teachings)
- Added the Cozy set to Mia’s inventory (unlocked after No Rest for the Weary)
- Added the Fighter set to Mia’s inventory (unlocked after The Master's Tea)
- Added the Chef set to Mia’s inventory (immediately available)
- Updated the model for the rotten Pumpkins, now they really need to go
- The Happy Mask Salesman now sells a Mask of horse nature
- The buildings in Ordon are now separate from Hateno to allow for further customisation
- Modified logic for “No Rest for the Weary” quest so that you can give Beza multiple items at once.
- Fixed a bug during “The Master’s Tea” where Risho would get up instantly during his dialogue.
- Fixed a bug where Risho would play the rest animation instantly during a dialogue when you give him an Herbal Tea.
- Changed the “Knight of Ordon” quest to instantly trigger the “Operation: Ruins Recovery” quest.
Labors of the Hero[]
- Updated text for statues in the LotH shrine
- Added placeholder files for some secret ruins of a divine nature
- Performed spring cleaning within the Sky Sanctuary, removing unnecessary elements and tidying up the level logic
- Updated behavior and settings for Sky Sanctuary enemies to better align with dungeon theme
- Added Dawn and Dusk Swords and Shields, obtainable from the Sky Sanctuary Monks
- Added Ancient Monk Hat as reward for beating the Sky Sanctuary
- Tweaked Mother Chu to prevent parts from spawning when already defeated
- Abandoned Fort has been added as the area for the 8th LotH Boss. Removing placeholder content surrounding the West side of Lake Hylia.
- Sooga placement moved to Lodrum Headland (West side of Hyrule)
- Moved the Lunar Lynel to a cave, with a box of scraps (found further West of Karusa Valley)
- Lunar Lynel fight enhanced to match difficulty in boss order placement
- That cave holds some other secrets, try returning when the boss isn’t around to supervise things
- Updated recipe for Wizzrobe Mask to use Evil Crystal instead of Ancient Alloy
- Mother Chu is now more resistant to bombs and arrows, her children are not vulnerable to elements and they all have a weakness to the one and only shovel
- Added an entire Earth Sanctuary, those Sheikah Monks really kept busy.
- They can fly now? Try using the Elemental Rod, you’ll find yourself capable of performing some neat tricks.
- The abandoned mine has had a few updates, maybe it’s time to visit the Hinox King again
- The reward for beating the Hinox King has been added
Roc’s Tower[]
- Updated area around Hebra Peaks for performance increases
- Roc’s Tower is now contained within its own realm
- The Gear Platform Final Position when entering final puzzle room
