Recruit: The Fame Seeker

"Recruit: The Fame Seeker" is a sub-quest under the main quest Hylian Knights.

Stage	Description
Begin	Dai, a traveler seeking fame is looking to explore the Coliseum Ruins in order to find treasure. However, his sword has almost reached its limit and he needs a new replacement weapon. You were given materials and told to find a blacksmith in Hateno Village and get a Soldier's Broadsword forged. Return to Dai with a Soldier's Broadsword.
1	You gave Dai a Soldier's Broadsword and he is now able to explore the Coliseum Ruins, however he seems to have stopped at the entrance. Find out what is troubling Dai.
2	Dai told you that two Lynels appeared out of nowhere and are now roaming the ruins. Defeat the Lynels.
3	You defeated the Lynels and now Dai is free to explore the Coliseum Ruins. Tell Dai the good news.
Finish	Dai explored the Coliseum Ruins and found an axe which he seemed very interested in. To thank you for your efforts he gave you an Ethereal Stone which he also found within the ruins. After speaking to Dai about joining the resistance, he decided to join for reasons that are not so noble.
